Welcome to our pet shop and dog grooming parlour in Christchurch. Grooming is our passion and I have a small but very experienced and skilled team. All my staff have studied and got qualifications in animal welfare. We are in an excellent position to understand your pet’s needs so they don’t just leave us looking good but feeling good as well.

We have a fully equipped grooming parlour & we cover all aspects of dog grooming that should be available from a dog groomer, from a good dog wash for when your dog has been playing in the New Forest to the full Monty, dog bath, blow dry, brush out, hand stripping or clipping, nail trimming, ear plucking and breed specific styling.

I am happy to meet the dog first and help decide what’s best for his/her coat type or if it’s a cross breed suggest what will look best.



Anal glands will be checked if you ask when you bring your dog in.

Grooming time may vary depending on the amount of work involved and if the dog is happy for us to proceed,some new dogs need cuddles,reassurance and time to settle before we can start work on them.

Puppy Grooming
Introducing puppies to grooming is always done in calm & friendly manner. They are often very wriggly and a little unsure, so they need to be given time to adjust and plenty of cuddles.



Puppies are usually brought in for a face and paw trim until their coat is ready for its first proper clip. This is usually around six months. Nails usually need to be trimmed before this time. Nails can be trimmed in a couple of minutes so no appointment is necessary. Although it’s always best to phone first.

Our Pet Shop
If you get your dog groomed with us you can receive 10% off any products in our shop. This is usually on top of all our other heavy discounts (excluding Burns food).



We supply a full range of quality dog accessories, from leads, collars, harnesses, flea treatments, joint aid, wormers, shampoo’s,training aids and grooming equipment. Good quality dog and cat foods such as Naturediet, Forthglade, Royal Canin, James Wellbeloved, and Burns holistic ideal for healthy diets, and we also have a small range of frozen raw food.

Advice is on hand for fitting coats, harnesses, Halti’s etc and for which diet is preferable for your dog. Whether it’s losing weight, old age, wheat free diet, skin issues or just to help maintain your dogs coat to help give him/her the best quality of life.

The shop also stocks the normal ranges you would expect from a pet shop like hay and small animal products (all of which qualify for the grooming discount).We choose not to sell animals.
