Hi, I’m Elaine and I run Barking Mad here in Fife & Kinross. If there’s anybody who knows about dogs then it’s us - Barking Mad have been providing peace of mind holidays for dog lovers since 2008. I like to provide a 5 star professional service that meets your personal needs and gives your dog the perfect loving home for their holiday.



My Service
It’s really important for me to get to know you and your dog before their first holiday with us. That’s why I’ll come to you and over a cup of tea you can tell me all about the day-to-day routines for feeding and exercising so we can replicate this for your dog. We’ll chat out about their likes (usually lots of these especially cuddles), their dislikes (normally the hoover and the postman) and any specific healthcare requirements. By the time we stop blethering, which is never less than an hour, I’ll know all there is to know about your doggie and the chances are they’ll be curled up snoozing beside me.

I also know it’s really important selecting the right host home for your dog’s holiday and whilst we’re chatting about your dog’s needs we’ll take a look through the profiles of my hosts. With loving families across the Kingdom, all with fabulous gardens and amazing walks on their doorsteps, we’ll find the perfect place for your pooch to stay. You choose if you want your dog to stay with a resident dog or simply a one-to-one holiday with a host for fun, frolics and 5 star fuss.



Everyone’s Welcome
Oh and don’t worry, I love dogs of all shapes and sizes – pedigree, Heinz 57 or rescue. They can sleep in the bedroom, tear around the garden or even hide your favourite baffies. We cater for everyone - from a sleepover to a long holiday - as long as they’re friendly we’ll get along just fine.



Peace of Mind
When holiday time arrives I’ll come to you to collect your dog and all their belongings so you don’t need to worry about a thing – who wants to be stuck behind a tractor or get a flat tyre and be panicking about catching a flight?

The best bit for me is seeing the dogs all settled-in and happy with their host – in no time at all they become part of the family with their paws placed firmly under the table. My hosts are at home during the day to ensure around the clock care is provided and I’m regularly in touch with them so I can keep you posted while you’re away about anything you need to know.

So leave it to the experts, after all there’s no point having a dog and barking yourself. I do all the hard work so you don’t have to.
