Welcome to the award winning waterside Restaurant and Accommodation, situated in Over on the edge of the historic city of Gloucester

The Wharf House Waterside Restaurant with Rooms is set in the perfect riverside location. Sample our culinary delights, which have recently been awarded a highly acclaimed red rosette by the AA or enjoy a stay in our beautiful rooms awarded with 4 stars by the AA. Our restaurant is not dog friendly, dogs are allowed on our terrace area and hotel rooms only.

All profits made by The Wharf House are used for the promotion and restoration of the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire Canal Trust.

The Wharf House Accommodation

Each of our 6 bedrooms provide wonderful views of the River Severn, or our newly restored Canal Basin. All rooms are equipped with wide-screen TV's, walk in WiFi, and private en suite facilities, some with whirl-pool baths.

All rooms include breakfast the following morning. Breakfast is served between 7.30am-9.30am Monday to Friday and 8.30am-9.45am Saturday and Sunday

(earlier if required at a supplement of £5 per room per half hour)

Standard King

We have one Executive King room available on the first floor with 22"wide-screen TV and en-suite facilities consisting of a bath with ceiling tile shower. Drink making facilities are also provided in this room which boasts views of the River Severn and Telfords Bridge at Over.

Executive Twin

We have one Executive Twin available on the first floor. This consists of 2 single beds which can be converted to a Super-king bed, avaliable on request prior to stay. The room includes a 32"wide-screen TV and en-suite facilities including a double shower spa bath with Kohler cutting edge 57jet ceiling tile shower. With oblique views of the canal basin and the adjoining local area.

Superior King

We have available two large Superior King rooms, both with stunning views over the River Severn and towards Gloucester or over our newly restored Canal Basin. These rooms both include en-suite complete with spa bath with ceiling tile shower and 32" wide-screen TV. Drink making facilities and a minibar are also provided in the bedrooms.

Luxury King

We have available two large Luxury King sized rooms. These spacious rooms contain 32" wide-screen Tvs, a two-person spa bath with a ceiling tile shower . Drink making facilities and a minibar are also provided in the bedrooms. Rooms have either stunning views of the River Severn and towards Gloucester, or our newly restored Canal Basin.

Luxury King with Sofa Bed

One of our Luxury King Sized rooms is also available with a fully-sprung bed-settee for a third person.

Ballard Suite

Our two Luxury King bedrooms are also available together as a Suite connected via a central lounge, sleeping a total of 6 persons.
