Pro Dogs Direct
We endeavour to help all breeds of dogs, including those involved in cruelty cases, puppy farm breeding dogs and those poor souls in council dog pounds who are due to be killed simply because no one has claimed them. We aim to place each dog in the best available home and do not just home on a first come first served basis. Home checks and a set donation apply.
Ideally, we aim to rehome any unwanted dog directly from old home to new home, without the need for kennels. Where that is not possible, we use foster homes and occasionally kennels to get dogs to safety and out of difficult situations.
“I have been lucky enough to have 2 dogs pick me from pro dogs, sadly for me they are now both in their final forever home but, thanks to this amazing team of people had had some lovely years with first my honey a cross Sharon pei/Bordeaux who, that had been homed before me, she was a handful and could try to be very dominant, but it all boiled down to trust in the the and as soon as she know she was extremely loved our bond was built, on her passing Donna Woodford was extremely helpful and gave me lots of advice. After losing Honey with then adopted Dash a boxer, he was a bit older and had kennel cough when we collected him, poor chap I was awful for him. We spent 4 nights together downstairs huddled together on the sofa, he was an amazing young man and was so loving, he loved people of all ages. Both are so sadly missed, and will definitely be returning to pro dogs when I am ready for another. The work these guys do is simply amazing and not enough to credit is given to them. So I would like to say a massive thank to the team. I will be in touch again xx”

“Pro Dogs are run by a team who are caring, informative and supportive. The do the very best they can for the dogs that come in to care and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. When I was at a loss with what to do with a puppy farm dog I had taken in, they were only too happy to give me sound advice and encouragement and I’m very greateful for that”
