Welcome to Dog Friendly Westfield Lodge

Superb self-catering accommodation in a truly breathtaking location. Near to the bustling village of Haworth, famous as the home of one of England’s most famous literary families, the Brontës. Each of our twenty self-catering apartments has fantastic views over the hills, valleys or moors. All are fully furnished, offering you a comfortable home-from-home with everything you'll need for a relaxing break. Most ground-floor apartments have their own outside seating/patio areas.

All our guests can use the BBQ, play and recreation area, as well as the communal washing and drying facilities. There's even a dog wash area – ideal for use after a muddy moorland adventure.

Perfect for dogs (and their owners!)

We don’t just tolerate pets – we welcome them, at no extra charge.

With Haworth's dramatic moors on the doorstep, and many other local walks nearby, Westfield Lodge is perfect for dogs (and their owners!) who enjoy exploring. Our pet-friendly apartments have wood laminate or vinyl flooring and other features that have been included with pets in mind. Outside, there's a dog wash area – ideal for canines who like to get muddy.

We also offer accommodation that is totally pet-free, so can cater for all requirements.

Should you have any questions then please do not hesitate tocontact us.

If you're bringing pets

Being pet-friendly means making sure that all our guests (both human and non-human!) have a fantastic stay at Westfield Lodge. So it goes without saying that we expect all pet owners to be considerate of others, both within and outside the apartments.

We ask you to bring bedding, eating and drinking bowls for each pet. And don’t forget to bring towels so that your dogs can take full advantage of our outside shower area after muddy walks.

Well-behaved dogs will love Westfield. And to show how welcome they are, we provide regular deliveries of fresh bones for our canine guests. Make sure you keep your dog(s) under control in the public areas – especially when there are bones to be had!

In the surrounding area...

There’s certainly no shortage of things to do during your stay at Westfield Lodge. There are plenty of fantastic walks right on the doorstep, including to Wuthering Heights, the Brontë Falls, and locations from ‘The Railway Children’. The nearby villages have plenty to offer, including the chance to take a steam-train ride on the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. And if you want to venture further afield, there’s a wealth of heritage, cultural and leisure activities on offer.

Eating and drinking

You’ll find plenty of choice when it comes to eating and drinking. There are cafés and tea rooms, cosy pubs, restaurants offering fine dining, and some excellent curry houses and many take dogs. And if you’re looking for traditional fish & chips, or fancy a takeway, you won’t be disappointed.

Shopping for essentials

The nearby villages of Haworth and Oxenhope both have mini-markets, while there are larger superstores in Keighley and other nearby towns. And we keep a small stock of essentials for you to buy if you’re stuck for any basic items including a small selection of books and DVDs for you to borrow.

Walks from Westfield Lodge

As well as a range of delightful short walks that are right on the doorstep, there are plenty of longer walks in the surrounding area for you to enjoy. You can pick up maps and instructions from Westfield Lodge, but here’s just a taste of what’s available.
