The apartment it self is the nicest one we have ever stayed in, spotless and so well equipped, they have thought of everything to make you feel at home, very high quality and for the hot tub, well the only thing I can say is..."pure perfection". “WOW, this honestly is the most fantastic self catering accommodation we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped & set in the most stunning countryside. The dog friendly apartment 'Lovely Seat' has a great log burner, comfy sofas, fabulous balcony leading off the lounge over looking Kisdon, big scrumptious bed, large bath & powerful shower, there's even a dishwasher in the kitchen & full use of washing machine & tumble dryer! Our Harvey Hound was greeted by complimentary dog treats, flashing collar for night time walks, a towel, food & water bowls & to top this off a few acres of completely walled in field just at the back of the house to explore. The sauna in the leisure suite is a huge added bonus as is the outside large hot tub with amazing views, set in a well sheltered area so you can even enjoy the bubbles in the rain. We found loads of information in the apartment on the local area, walks & places to visit as well as the Christmas opening times for local pubs & restaurants, Suzanne & Chris (the owners) really have thought of everything. We had a beautiful, most memorable Christmas 2011 in Swaledale & have already planned to visit again in Summer 2012. ”

Note from Rio: I had a great time. My fave thing is the field. I love running around there and my dad lit the wood burner for me every night so I could dry and chill out. I love it here. I even met some new dog friends, Oscar and Rufus!”

“An amazing place, it has to be seen to be believed. The views are awesome and although we live in a quiet place, it's not this quiet! Dil the poodle says thanks for the biscuits. He has loved all the walks and a day with other dogs and Clare in Muker (so we could go to the Great Yorkshire Show).”

“I have had the best holiday ever. I loved the views as I could keep an eye on the sheep and the rabbits. I was not allowed in the hot tub but Mum and Dad said it was great after a hard day's walking! Lovely Seat is really special and I will be back. I may bring Mum and Dad if they're really lucky. It's great that I can come to stay here as not many nice places would have me.”
