Working with all dog breeds ranging from small Chihuahuas to large Leonbergers, Aftab (LLB (Hons), CDBC, ISCP.Dip.CP, IMDTB, MGoDT MPDTI, DTC-ADT) has dealt with virtually all unwanted behaviours exhibited by our canine friends and has particular expertise in working with rescue dogs. Aftab is available for consultations across much of England and has worked with clients and their dogs based in London, Reading, Oxford, Aylesbury, Manchester.

In addition to dealing with troublesome dog behaviours, Aftab also specialises in puppy training classes and general dog training.

Dog Training
Aftab helps dog owners understand the way dogs learn, the importance of reward based training, why some dogs just don’t listen to their owners and the impact of genetic predisposition, previous experiences and the environment on a dog’s behaviour.

Dog Behaviour Problems
Aftab has over 20 years experience of modifying dog behaviours and has trained with the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and training (CIDPT) the International School of Canine Psychology (ISCP) and The Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT). Aftab deals with all dog aggression, recall issues, jumping up, pulling on lead, seperation anxiety, fears and phobias etc.

Puppy Training Classes
These private classes are held on a 1:1 or on rare occasions, on a 1:2 basis and caters for puppies up to the age of 6 months. Each session lasts one hour and includes going on dog walks.

Dog Seminars
Aftab holds regular seminars on a variety of subjects including the major causes of behavioural problems and how to modify undesirable behaviours. The last seminar was held in Malta in April 2022.
