Cologin Woods

This walk starts and finishes in the pub! (Well it can do!) Parking at The Barn/Cologin and easy access through the farm gate. Dogs on a lead until you are through the first field and then 17,000 acres of forestry commission woods to explore. The Red Route is a very simple 2 miles circular route suitable for most abilities and ages (although wear good boots as it can be muddy) but to get the full benefit you should deviate from the route to one ofsummits - fantastic views out of Oban Bay to the islands beyond.
