Greencarts Campsite and Bunkhouse - Dog Friendly Camping in Hexham, Northumberland

Greencarts Farm is a working farm situated in the beautiful Tyne Valley. We have a large campsite, a bunkhouse and also a camping barn all with beautiful views on the Northumberland countryside.

 A warm Northumbrian welcome awaits all visitors to Greencarts. Being so centrally situated, we are an ideal base to explore this spectacular countryside and as the farm sits almost on top of Hadrian's Wall we offer an ideal stopover for walkers and cyclists.

Camping
You can pitch up on either our big or small camping fields, there are 12 electric hook ups along the top of our large field. There is also hard standing available for campervans and caravans.

Bunkhouse
In the bunkhouse you get a private room for yourself or group and use of the facilities which include shower room, toilet and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, TV.

Camping Barn
The camping barn is a basic but cosy dormitory style room with 11 beds in. It has a small kitchenette including a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. It uses the camping facilities which are located close by.

Facilities
Campers have the use of our high standard washroom facilities, we have separate male, female and disabled areas. We also have a sink area to wash dishes and a washer and dryer. There are a number of picnic benches for your use and we have a limited number of log baskets for lighting a small fire at night.

Local Attractions
We are ideally located for many of the visitors attractions that Northumberland has to offer, including The National Park, Hadrian's Wall, Kielder Water, The Scottish Borders, Alnwick Castle & Gardens, and The National Trust site of Cragside. Both East and West coasts are within one hour of Greencarts Farm.
