Woodend farm complex

“We have used Woodend Farm for our 3 dogs for 12 years now and within that time we have received nothing but the best excellent care for all 3 of our dogs. Nothing is ever too much trouble. What we like most about Woodend Farm is that these guys really know their stuff when it comes to caring for any type of dog,regardless of the breed , temperament and age. For this reason I can definitely highly recommend these guys , as you will definitely not be disappointed. My dogs always come home happy and well looked after. I have never in the 12 years that my dogs have been going to Woodend Farm, ever had to deal with any form of illness or fleas as mentioned in one of the previous review about Woodend Farm. I wouldn't dream of using any other kennels other than Woodend Farm for my dogs. These guys really are top class, and as for the new doggy park that has just been built ,it just couldn't get any better. Well done guys... keep up the great work. ”

“I started using Woodend Kennels a couple of years ago when I needed day care for my lab. The brothers were great! They gave me the flexibility I needed and their rates were very competitive. My dog is always so happy to go there either for short or long term care and has never come home with fleas or any other parasite! I wouldn't think of going anywhere else and recommend them highly to friends and relations. The brothers have offered advice on some training issues my lab has (at no further cost I might add) and are always happy to offer help when needed with training issues. ”

“ABSOLUTE TOSH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! iv been using woodend from the 70s, making good friends with Stuart and Pam, over the years, and now with the brothers,, its now my 4th dog to be staying there, iv never had any problems with staff , prices , welfare of my dogs has always been Grade A..... this review, turns my stomach.. not sure whats gone wrong here for such foul use of words, ! £ 156 , seams to be a pretty good price for a g.s.d to stay for 12 days.. seams very odd, if at all a dog can get fleas in such a well set out kenells, as i remember the re-furb they carried out , ... woodend, you have my full backing. “this boarding kennel is an absolute disgrace. we were quoted £130 for 12 days boarding of our dog and that was supplying our own dog food. when we went to collect him he wanted £156 and would not let us have the dog untill it was paid this is blackmail of the cruelest kind. when we asked for a receipt he refused to give us one so we told him we would take it. further but he just laughed at us.. upon inspection we found our dog covered in fleas and flee bites (which he did not have before he went to the kennel) we had to take our 6month old g.s.d straight to a dog groomer to be bathed and de flead, and then to the vet for treatment of flea bites. he was also very shocked as he had given him his full check up just before we put him in the kennel and 100% ok. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS OWNER AND KENNELS. we are taking further action them. i have only given a rating of 1 becuase you have to leave a rating to post. ”
