I am a self-taught needle felt artist. This means that I use sheep's wool as my paint and I use a special needle to attach the wool to the background material.

I produce portrait of dogs primarily, but I have done other animals, in varying sizes.

I work from a photograph of your dog and transfer that image into a unique work of art..

Prices listed below are ‘start from’ prices.  Prices will vary depending on the complexity of the portrait, whether there are toys, collars, and other items.  Also, if you would like a double animal portrait and you do not have a suitable photo with both animals together, and the photo’s need to be manipulated the cost will be higher.  Please note prices are for guidance and can change depending on the complexity of the piece

I have other sizes available or I can make to a size of your choosing.   The backing material will be a beige linen material.  There are other options available which we can discuss

You can have your items framed.  I have various frames, contact me if you would like this option.  This would incur an extra cost.

I can incorporate pet fur into the portrait, either mixed with wool or made into a little heart and put inside the portrait.  This will increase the price of the portrait slightly as pet fur is harder to felt than wool.  Contact me if you would like this option.

Please note there is a 6 – 8 week timeframe.  This depends on how many portraits I have on my waiting list.  If you have a specific date that you would like the portrait for, please contact me ASAP and I will try my utmost to accommodate any special requests

Dog and cat memorial portrait

Dog or cat memorial portrait using animal fur to be made into a heart with your animal photo, name and touching phrase of your choice.  Or it can be made into a gift for a pet lover.  In a frame £24.50 free postage in UK.

I have other options for portraits.  You can choose a cushion, bag or jewellery box/memorial box.  Ask for details.

I will help you choose the right choice for you and I can use my knowledge and experience to help you to decide on a portrait that you will treasure forever.

 

Each piece will take many hours to complete as I am meticulous in capturing the true likeness of your animal and their character. I will contact throughout the process to ensure you are completely thrilled with your special portrait.
