Ickworth - A pleasure ground for dogs

Ickworth is great place for dogs and their owners - we’ve a wide range of walks for you. Head for a light stroll or something more energetic to build up your appetite. With sweeping views and plentiful sticks, let your furry friends lead you on a path of discovery.

Dogs on leads
Ickworth is a wonderful place to walk especially with a dog, but we do ask that your dog is kept on a lead at all times on the Estate for the wellbeing of all visitors and our wildlife.

We do this to improve the safety and enjoyment on the estate for all visitors, landowners / tenants, dog owners and their dogs. We need to ensure the majority of our visitors feel that Ickworth is a safe place for all to experience and enjoy.

You may wander freely around the parkland and woods, but dogs are not allowed in the Italianate gardens or inside the buildings (apart from assistance dogs).

Porter's Lodge outdoors cafe and takeaway is perfect for four-legged visitors, why not treat yourselves to some of the tasty delights? There's also water bowls for your dog - and if you stop in at Porter's Lodge reception, we're sure we'll have a dog biscuit or two!
