Also known as Porth Tywyn Mawr, this exquisite location is expansive enough for water sports, yet family friendly too, with soft sand for sandcastles and clean water for safe swimming.
There are picturesque dunes behind the beach and a nearby campsite and village, for provisions.
One of the most tranquil spots on Anglesey, the westerly aspect makes this a fine place to watch the sun drop over the ocean, after a relaxing day at the beach.
