Portsonachan Hotel - Dog Friendly Accommodation in Inveraray, Argyll and Bute

Portsonachan Hotel is situated on the shores of the picturesque Loch Awe, Portsonachan Hot el has been in operation for well over 100 years. The original hotel building boasts 19 individually themed and decorated double rooms, some of which have Loch Views.

Hotel Rooms
Our hotel rooms are individually decorated so each one feels different, we offer four types of rooms, standard double or twin, loch view double, standard family and loch view family.

All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities and a TV.

As well as the original hotel building the hotel offers a range of alternative accommodation.

Coach House Rooms
Opposite the hotel, you will find the original Coach House Building. Part of the original buildings at Portsonachan they have now been converted into a series of Rooms and 1 and 2 Bedroom Apartments. The facilities in the apartments include Kitchens, Lounge, Bedrooms and Bathrooms. Some Rooms also boast a bedroom and Lounge.

The 2 Bedroom Apartments can sleep up to 5 people and are ideal for families. All apartments have hardwood floors and/or slate tiling, leather furniture and are Pet Friendly.

Loch-side Apartments
10 Luxury Lochside Apartments. Spread over 2 floors, these apartments contain a double room with en-suite, a fully equipped kitchen, downstairs Villeroy and Boch wetroom, lounge and waterside patio with panoramic views. Outdoor furniture, perfect for enjoying a long summer sunset.

Our individual duplex suites come fully furnished with a Double Bedroom, En-Suite Bathroom, Villeroy and Boch Wetroom, Fully Fitted Kitchen, Lounge and Private Patio overlooking the Loch.

All the apartments have a stunning view facing Loch Awe and Ben Cruachan mountain.

Wooden Lodges
Situated in the grounds of Portsonachan Hotel are a series of 9 Self Catering traditional wooden lodges, which can accommodate up to 6 people. All the lodges are built in the beautiful grounds of this stunning location. Perfect for holidays with friends and family these log cabins offer an ideal escape from busy city life.

Some of the lodges offer a built-in sauna and are fully furnished with everything you will need on your “home from home” holiday including fully fitted kitchen, heating and full linen and towels.
