The Happy Mutt - Dog Walking In Wokingham, Berkshire

My name is Susan.I love nothing better than putting on my walking boots and getting out in the fresh air. I am also a dog lover and the proud owner of our much loved, and very energetic Springer/ Cocker Spaniel cross.

The Happy MuttThe Happy Mutt

I often looked after and walked friends dogs just for fun so it seemed a natural choice for me to combine my love of both dogs and walking and become a dog walker. If you leave your dog with me it will receive the same care & affection I give my own.

I provide a caring, flexible and reliable service offering Group walks and subject to availability may be able to provide your dog with an individual one-to-one walk. I prefer not to walk dogs in groups of more than 4 and often groups may be smaller depending on the mix of dogs on any particular day.

Our dogs have different preferences when it comes to "Walkies" and whilst some Dogs may be content with ambling along and sniffing around , others are happier with something more energetic. Does your dog love charging through the woods, or enjoy a good run playing enthusiastically with other dogs in a pack? Where possible I will aim to tailor our walks and mix of dogs to suit your particular dog and ensure your dog is at all times safe in my care.

Our routes will vary and include the woodlands and fields locally and further afield including the Coombes, Gorrick Woods, along the Thames or Dinton Pastures.

Our group dog walks will be for a minimum of 1 hour and may often be longer. One to one walks will normally be of shorter duration of 30 - 45 minutes and the length may be adjusted to suit your particular dog. An elderly dog might for example be happier with a shorter less energetic walk. At the end of the walk I will return your dog to your home, towel dried and check that they have plenty of fresh water available.

I collect dogs from the Woosehill, Winnersh, Emmbrook, Central Wokingham and Barkham area's.

Reviews

“Sue often walks our dog Merlow and sometimes has her for the day when we want a day out and can't take her. She also stayed with her when we were on holiday last year. I know Merlow has a great time and is always really happy to see her. She get's a really good walk and having walked with Sue and her own dog myself I know she is happy to take the dogs and tramp for miles. Happy to recommend . ”
