Amazing place, very popular in the summer months but you can still get away from the crowd.

You can park around the outside of the estate in Higher Disley and walk into the park if you wish to park for free. Some of the better walks begin of Mudhurst Lane Higher Disley and into lyme Park via Bowstones or East Lodge.

We like walking there from New Mills up Grenshall Lane and over the Grit Stone Trail.

Quiet areas high up on the moors, good views of Manchester so dog friendly coffee shop sells dog biscuits.

Amazing house amazing history stunning grounds so huge you could spend hours roaming ( and I have) .

Today I went to my favorite dog walking stomping ground Lyme Park Estate Disley.

It was cold and all the snow has melted away, the ground was frosty and frozen so mud was kept at the minimum, so we had a huge doggy walk,

There were not many dog walkers out with their doggies today probably because it was so cold and stormy.

Had a walk around Lantern Wood and up to Paddock Cottage with my doggies Scrappy and Lucy from Marple Stockport.
