Dog Friendly Accommodation in Camelford, Cornwall

Near Camelford, North Cornwall – Four quality dog-friendly self-catering barn conversions, sleeping 2 – 6, set in 12 acres of  countryside, at the end of a tree-lined country lane. Only 5 miles from nearest beach & 1 mile from Bodmin Moor.  Just off main A39 Atlantic Highway, between Bude and Padstow.

Walking distance to shops, pub, takeaways, including award winning Peckish Fish & Chips in Camelford & Barnecutt’s Pasties from our local garage/convenience store 5 mins walk. 

Each property has oak or slate floors, fully fitted kitchen with beech or granite worktops, whirlpool bath with shower, and its own garden and seating area. There is a shared recreation area for children, including swings and a slide.  Ample off-road parking. Free WiFi is also available.  All barns have a washer/dryer & dishwasher. Smaller barns have a utility/drying room. Shared EV charging point in main yard.

We accept max 2 dogs (over 12 months of age) per property @ £20 each extra.  Swallows Barn accepts 3 dogs. Treats, bowls & throws provided, also outside tap/hose in smaller barns.  Nearest dog friendly beach only 5 miles away, lots of walks from doorstep.  Vets 1/2 mile away.

The Shippen (sleeps 2) - on one level
Beamed open-plan living/dining room with high-pitched ceiling, exposed oak rafters, rugs on slate floor. Solid oak kitchen with granite worktops/splashback. Double bedroom (5ft brass bed), with en-suite bathroom containing shower over whirlpool bath & toilet. Utility/drying room with washer/dryer. Smart tv. Underfloor heating throughout. Stable door leading to private, secure patio area with seating. Outside tap/hose. Non-smoking accommodation.

Yew Tree Barn (sleeps 2)  - on one level

Swallows Barn (sleeps 4) - 'reverse-living' - 2 bedrooms

Well-equipped Shaker-style kitchen area with beech worktops and oak floor. Smart tv. Lower ground floor: Double bedroom (5ft brass bed). Twin bedroom. Bathroom with shower over whirlpool bath and toilet. Gated, outside seating/dining area. BBQ. Shared outside play area. Non-smoking accommodation. Please note that this barn accepts 3 dogs.

Threshing Barn (sleeps 6) - 'reverse living' - 3 bedrooms
Large beamed open-plan living/dining room with high pitched ceiling, exposed rafters, rugs on oak floor and French doors to small balcony. Shaker-style kitchen area with beech worktops and oak floor. Double oven. Lower ground floor: Double bedroom (5ft brass bed). Two twin bedrooms. Bathroom with shower over whirlpool bath and toilet. Outside seating/dining area (not gated). BBQ. Shared outside play area. Non-smoking accommodation.
