Loe Beach - Dog Friendly Beach in Feock, Cornwall
Loe beach is the nearest beach to Truro, located in Feock, just south of the city.
It’s popular all year round, especially for boating folk, due to its location at the top of Carrick Roads and the presence of many swinging moorings. There’s limited parking, plus an excellent beach café and toilets at the beach.

During my early morning visit, it was eerily tranquil, the dawn sun painting a Turner-esque palette in the sky.
It's very handy if you’re working in Truro and need to see the sea.

“Always wonder why this beach has so much rubbish on it. In winter the private car and boat park is a mud bath. Rotting old inflatables, tons of waste plastic and plastic sheeting litter the whole boat park. In windy weather it gets blown into the sea. There are rubbish bins that hardly get emptied. We are a few people who tried to contact owner but didn't get anywhere, think it is let out by the land owner? Could be a great little beach with nice cafe and water sports centre .. except for all the rubbish!”
