Wainsford Riverside Cottages - Dog Friendly Cottages in Liskeard, Cornwall

Our spacious centrally heated self-catering accommodation comprises of three 3 bedroomed, detached cottages, (each sleeping 6), set in stunning grounds. When multiple cottages are booked by a single party, guests benefit from exclusive use of the communal Lounge in The Barn, providing ample space in which to gather and relax whilst on holiday.

Loveny Cottage
The largest of the three cottages, enjoying views from the Living Room that overlook its own enclosed garden and the parkland with lake beyond. This centrally heated cottage has three Twin Bedrooms and a Family Bathroom, the Master Bedroom enjoys an adjoining ensuite Shower Room. Downstairs Loveny has a spacious Kitchen/Diner, a huge Hallway, ideal for coats and boots, and a comfortable Living Room. There are patio doors from the Living Room into the enclosed garden which overlooks the parkland and lake.

Parr Cottage
This warm centrally heated cottage has a first-floor open plan Kitchen/Living Room/Dining Room with stove and beamed ceiling, with stable door opening onto the raised deck giving direct access to both tiers of the garden. The Kitchen area is fully fitted.
The ground floor Master Bedroom with ensuite Shower Room and garden access via patio doors, two further Bedrooms – one with twin beds and one with bunk beds, and Family Bathroom with shower over the bath.

Peal cottage
A lovely cottage that enjoys views from the Living Room that overlook its own enclosed garden and the parkland with lake. This centrally heated cottage has a ground floor open plan Living Room with vaulted ceiling and dining area, fully fitted kitchen along with the Master Bedroom with ensuite Shower Room. On the first-floor there are two further twin bedrooms along with a Family Bathroom with shower over the bath.

The Barn Communal Facilities
Adjoining the courtyard there is The Barn – a communal building for all to enjoy.
This includes;
the rod room – with bait fridge and freezer
the dog wash room – with raised shower, blaster dryer, dedicated washing machine and tumble dryer
the games area – with dart board and pool table
the kitchenette – with fridge, freezer and dishwasher servicing
the large lounge with log burning stove

Dogs
We understand that knowing your dogs are truly welcome and well catered for, leaves you free to enjoy your stay to the full.

As we as our new dedicated communal wash room, we have a selection of bowls, beds, cages, towels and throws, available for your convenience. We can also arrange for your dog food to be delivered – including raw frozen, making your travels as light as possible.

There is plenty of space for stretching legs, be it a stroll round the lake or along the river through the parkland, or a more energetic run around in the 2.5 acre meadow or a climb up into the 7.5 acre ancient woodlands the dogs love it.
You can also walk to the dog friendly pub – all on footpaths!
