Newlyn Art Gallery is a contemporary art gallery located in Newlyn, Cornwall. Opened in 1895 the gallery was conceived as a home and exhibition venue for the Newlyn School of Art the works of which are now largely located at Penlee House Gallery and Museum in nearby Penzance.

Newlyn Art Gallery exists because of a long history of contemporary art making in the far west of Cornwall and has celebrated contemporary art and supported the artists that produce it more than 120 years. In 2007 the gallery reopened after a period of renovation with the addition of a new pavilion. At this time the gallery also launched its new space, The Exchange, in the centre of Penzance, which has enabled the organisation to take on larger, more ambitious projects across its two sites. Together the galleries continue to present contemporary work in all media by regional, national and international artists, with a programme of events, activities and education.

There is a shop selling ceramics, jewellery, cards and art books and the Studio Cafe serves cakes, pastries and savoury snacks. The gallery recently completed a project to enhance its outdoor spaces including secluded gardens with pebble seating.

Well behaved dogs are welcome, but may not be allowed in the exhibition spaces during certain times. For details of exhibitions and events visit the website.
