Check in with your dog at reception and be taken to our beautifully appointed courtyard cottage suites where a complimentary doggie treat welcomes your four legged friend.

Courtyard Cottage Suites
Our courtyard cottages are available to dog owners and their pets. Beautifully appointed and opening out onto the courtyard and walled garden where the hot tub and small summer house are located. Each with it's own ensuite bath/shower room, downstairs sitting room, electric fire, tea/coffee facilities and mini-bar.

During your stay
There's 80 acres of formal gardens, woodland and parkland for you both to explore. While Bruce, the resident dog, will be happy to lead the way! Afterwards, ease those muscles with a relaxing dip in the hot tub, before dinner in the critically acclaimed award winning, Brabazon Restaurant. Enjoy a delectable 7 or 10 course Tasting Menu, laced with strong seasonal influences and ingredients from our own kitchen garden and polytunnels on the estate. When the weather is clement, why not dine alfresco on the terrace, where well behaved doggies are welcome to join their owners.

Tankardstown House prides itself on also being one of very few Dog Friendly Wedding Venues, allowing your dog to be part of the most special day of your life! From fabulous portraits of you and your beloved pooch in their stunning gardens, to even having your pup walk down the aisle! Then when all the excitement is over, they can rest easy in their dog friendly cottages, allowing you to enjoy the rest of the celebrations with peace of mind that your fur baby is nearby.
