Fleetwith, Midtown Cottages, offers comfortable self catering accommodation in the Lake District National Park. It's well equipped and furnished, sleeps four in one double room and one twin, and is centrally heated for use all year round. It has off street parking for two cars and free wi-fi is available. Of course, dogs are very welcome and there's no extra charge.
Lorton is situated between Keswick and Cockermouth in the beautiful Vale of Lorton at the end of the Whinlatter Pass and is close to Crummock Water and Buttermere. There's a dog friendly pub (The Wheatsheaf) in the village within easy walking distance.
Fleetwith is one of a block of four cottages, built alongside a courtyard. This photograph, taken at dusk, shows the courtyard area, with Fleetwith nearest the camera. They are built 'upside down' - the bedrooms being downstairs with the lounge upstairs to make the most of the views over the fells. They sleep four and are electrically centrally heated for all year round use.
The building opposite the entrances houses a 'utility room' with washing machine, tumble dryer and a freezer. This is also an ideal area for muddy boots or bikes.

The cottage garden is not enclosed, however, the lawned area and car park are tucked away from the drive entrance.
