Walks & Surrounding Area
The Peak District and Derbyshire is one of the UK's most popular walking destinations, with something for everyone from flat, circular pathed walks to challenging treks up hills and crags.

We have an abundance of spectacular walks nearby for guests to enjoy and explore during their stay. Right from our back garden you can walk to Birchen Edge, one of the most famous climbing sites in the area, known for Nelson's Monument and it's stunning views over the Peak District and thrilling rock climbing for those seeking adventure. Across the valley you will find Wellington's Monument on Baslow Edge.

You can also take a walk through Chatsworth Park and to Chatsworth House direct from the B&B, entering the Chatsworth estate within just 10 minutes walk from our doorstep and about 40 minutes to reach the house itself.

For some really stunning scenery combined with history of the area, you could take a walk along some the Eastern Moors finest edges, including Baslow Edge, Birchen Edge and some of Gardom's Edge, before dropping below the edges for the views of the stunning gritstone cliffs. And don't miss Froggatt Edge, Curbar Edge, Dobb's Edge and further away Burbage Rocks and Stanage Edge.
