Peak View Shepherds Huts aren’t just your ordinary Shepherds Huts, they’re large bespoke luxury huts. With all the modern conveniences available but just step out the door into the beautiful Peak District countryside. Nestled in the foothills of the Pennines, on the edge of the Peak District National Park, Peak View offers a fabulous back-to-nature experience for couples looking for a romantic getaway. Surrounded by stunning countryside, our shepherds huts are warm and cosy, benefiting from superb wood burners as well as full thermostat controlled central heating, making it perfect for all year round adventures.

Our Shepherd Huts are situated in a gorgeous 3 acre private setting, yet just 1 mile from the bustling former mill town of Glossop and its extensive range of facilities.

Just walking distance from our huts is Windy Harbour Farm Hotel with a restaurant and a well stocked bar. There are ample varied and scenic walks in the surrounding countryside including the Pennine Way, Trans Pennine Trail and the Longdendale Trail, which are all easily accessible. Many Peak District towns and villages can be reached in around half an hour, including the spa town of Buxton and beautiful villages of Edale and Castleton.

Wooly's Hut (dog friendly)
Wooly’s Hut was named after one of our favourite sheep from over the years. Wooly was given to us as an old man when he outgrew his previous home, a local farmhouse in which he used to live indoors and even wore a dog collar with his name on.

This hut, like our others, is larger than average and fitted with a combination of traditional and up to date accessories including free WIFI. As soon as you walk through the stable style door you’re greeted with a comfy British wool double sofa.

Eric’s Hut (dog friendly)
Eric’s Hut was named after a pet Guanaco, Eric. Guanacos are of the same family as Llamas and Alpacas and he was a great “guard” animal to the chickens, protecting them from foxes especially at night.

Eric’s Hut is also the twin of Meadow Hut, with a similar layout and size but beautifully individual stylings.
