“Really well equipped cottage with everything you need for a home away from home. There was everything that we wanted and our two big greyhounds were pleased with the paddock and each evening their dog cushions kept creeping nearer to the wood burner We were there at Christmas and it was beautifully decorated, we made a full Christmas dinner and the hosts Liz and Tom kindly left fizz and chocolates as well as Christmas pudding hats. Finally, Whaley Bridge is a convenient town with a train station, a Tesco's and quite a few pubs, all dog friendly. Silk Hill stables is up a hill, but whilst steep, it's not a long walk. Happy holidays.”
