Marsdens Cottage Holidays - Dog Freindly Accommodation

Marsdens Devon Cottages - Dog Friendly Cottages in Braunton, Devon

Marsdens Devon Cottages is an independent family business which started in 1973. We’ve grown a lot since the early days of letting our first self-catering holiday cottages, but our promise to provide the very best service – as well as a fantastic range of great places to stay – hasn’t changed one bit. As every year goes by, our experience continues to grow.

Dog Friendly Holidays
At Marsdens Devon Cottages over half of our properties allow pets, which means there is no reason for you to leave your treasured four-legged friend at home and miss out on a Devon holiday with the whole family.

Devon is a fantastic place to explore with your four-legged friend and you’ll soon discover there is too much to see in one visit, which is why so many of our customers come back time after time.

The county has wonderful beaches, many of them dog-friendly all year round, offering miles and miles of sand for your dog to bound across. Woolacombe and Mortehoe have 3 miles of sands to explore, much of it dog friendly all year round – take a walk to Putsborough and enjoy a cuppa and maybe a dog biscuit or two for your four-legged friend.

For more energetic dogs there are many opportunities to join the South West Coast Path where you will find a dramatic coastline waiting to be discovered. To the North, on the Exmoor coastline, don’t miss visiting the Valley of the Rocks near Lynton, arguably the most spectacular scenic location on Exmoor.

The beautiful Devon coast is just one option for exploring with your pooch, head inland and there are the National Parks of Exmoor and Dartmoor, popular with outdoor enthusiasts, walkers, cyclists and kayakers alike. On Dartmoor, climb to the top of Haytor Rocks and enjoy the view across the beautiful South Devon coastline, or for a more sheltered walk, visit the ancient bridge at Tarr Steps in the Exmoor National Park and take the circular walk alongside the River Barle.
