The Cherrybrook - Dog Friendly Bed and Breakfast in Dartmoor, Devon

Located at the heart of the Dartmoor National Park between Postbridge and Two Bridges,
The Cherrybrook is an ideal base to explore Dartmoor for walkers, cyclists or by car.

Dog Friendly bed and breakfast in Devon

We recognise that many who visit Dartmoor will want to bring their four-legged friends and The Cherrybrook provides truly dog friendly accommodation. Our dog, Teddy, is a central part of our life and we welcome our guests' well-behaved dogs for no additional charge.

Accommodation at The Cherrybrook comprises 7 well equipped rooms, each with en-suite facilities, flat screen televisions/dvd players and superb views over the open moor.

In the evening we can provide a limited number of evening meals, (booked in advance, please!) or we can recommend various local pubs or hotels, many of which are dog and walker friendly.
Please note that we are unable to offer evening meals on Fridays or Saturdays.

Dog Friendly Dartmoor at The Cherrybrook

Our 3 acres of meadows are particularly suited for dog owners and we have created a maze of small mown paths for those early morning and late evening walks.

We can also help dog owners with longer walks and can provide details of dog friendly walks ranging from 1 to 3 miles, all starting and finishing at The Cherrybrook. These walks are all stile free, and should be easy to follow with directions and maps provided.

Not all our guests will be bringing a dog and we would ask that all dog owners respect those guests who may not enjoy four-legged company. In particular we would ask that dogs are not allowed to climb onto beds or furniture and that should your dog soil the paths or mown areas, please clean up using the dog-poop bags provided.

Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant at any time and must not be left in a room unattended, unless in a dog crate. The usual practice is to leave your dog in your car during breakfast and evening meals - though we can arrange for a table to be set in our cosy litte bar where dogs are allowed.
