Tucked away on a quiet country lane just outside Kingsbridge, Island Lodge offers a peaceful and friendly setting for your touring or camping holiday. Surrounded by open fields and rolling hills, we’re perfectly placed within the South Devon National Landscape, with sandy beaches, coastal paths and pretty villages all within easy reach.

Island Lodge is open all year and welcomes families, couples and dog owners looking for a relaxed base to explore this beautiful part of the country. Whether you’re here for a weekend or the whole season, you’ll find spacious, well-kept pitches and all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay.

Comfortable Pitches
We offer a choice of grass pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, or hardstanding gravel based ‘super pitches’ with mains water tap, grey drainage and electric hook-up — ideal if you prefer a little extra convenience. All pitches come with free electric, and our wide access makes setting up simple. Seasonal pitches are also available.

Modern Facilities
Our purpose-built facilities are clean, modern and well maintained. You’ll find separate washrooms for ladies and gents, family washrooms, free hot showers, and an accessible wet room available on request. There’s also an indoor dishwashing area, coin-operated laundry, and a shared fridge and freezer for your use. 

Family Friendly
Island Lodge is a safe and welcoming site for families. Children can enjoy the play area with swings and basketball hoops, or use the open grass spaces for ball games. There’s plenty of room to explore, and free Wi-Fi is available across the site to keep everyone connected.

Dog Friendly
We know how important it is to bring your four-legged friends on holiday. Dogs are very welcome at Island Lodge, with a small dog exercise area on-site, a quiet country lane just outside for daily walks, and a large warm-water dog shower to clean up after muddy adventures. We provide dog waste bins, bags, and even treats — just let us know when you book. (Maximum of two dogs per pitch, breed restrictions apply - dogs must be tethered at all times and not be left unattended on site)
