Island Lodge Caravan And Camping Site - Dog Friendly Touring and Camping near Kingsbridge, Devon

Island Lodge is located near Kingsbridge, in a peaceful rural setting, within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Open all year, Island Lodge is pet and dog friendly, and offers you touring and seasonal pitches, along with modern facilities for you on your touring holiday.

The site is an ideal base for families and couples to explore all that South Devon and the surrounding area offers whether by car, bus or foot.​

Easy access with disabled wet room facilities available on request.
We have play facilities for children and open grass areas to play ball games.​
Seasonal pitches with hard standing base, mains water, drainage and electric hook up.
 Free WIFI is available on site.

Pitches
The touring site has easy access, and the well maintained grounds offer you grass pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Alternatively, the site offers ‘super pitches’ with a hard standing base for your caravan and awning, or motorhome, mains water point and drainage. These ‘super pitches’ can be reserved in advance, subject to availability.

All pitches are offered with free electric hook up. Please note you will require the appropriate equipment to use this facility.

Facilities at Island Lodge
The purpose built, on site amenities are modern and well cared for. Separate facilities are available for ladies and gents, and all the showers have free hot water.

The site also offers family washrooms (shower, basin & wc), and disabled facilities are available on request.

Indoor amenities are also provided for dishwashing, again with free hot water. There are modern coin operated laundry facilities, along with a freezer for your ice packs and fridge for perishables.

Water points are located conveniently on site, along with easy access chemical waste disposal point.

 For families, the site has a safe play area with swings and basketball hoops. There is also space for soft ball games on site.

Pet Friendly
For pet owners, dogs and other pets are very welcome on site, but please advise us at the time of booking. It is requested that your dog is tethered at all times on site, and please be a responsible dog owner.

A site offers a small dog exercise area or the quiet country lane adjacent to the site is ideal for dog walking. There is a purpose doggie waste bin, and bags are available on site, along with treats! The site has a large doggie shower with hot water, ideal for those muddy and sandy paws!

The area has many attributes suitable for dog lovers from quiet country walks or dramatic scenery along the coastal path, along with many dog friendly beaches and attractions.

 Please note that your dog must not be left unattended on site. Breed restrictions apply and we accept a maximum of TWO dogs per pitch.
