Oakdown is a family run award winning Holiday Park near the Jurassic Coast in East Devon. For over forty years the Franks family have carefully expanded and matured the park whilst always maintaining the very best quality for family holidays, receiving awards for excellence year on year in all areas of the Park.

Your Holiday at Oakdown starts with a warm welcome from the friendly resident wardens, whose total aim is to help you enjoy your stay and ensure that your holiday runs smoothly. Great care is taken in allocating pitches to satisfy all needs but please remember to book early if you have any particular requirements.

We welcome guests with Touring Caravans, Motor Caravans, Tents, Trailer Tents and folding campers who have a choice of either a non-serviced pitch, serviced pitch, or a super-serviced pitch. Pitches are landscaped into groves with thousands of trees, shrubs, flowers and has been awarded GOLD in the David Bellamy Conservation Award.

Oakdown also has 16 luxury Leisure Lodges, some of which are dog friendly, and there is also a dog friendly 17th century thatched cottage in the hamlet of Weston, which is 1.5 miles from the main site.

Fancy a spot of ‘glamping'?.... Camping without the tent & peg stress? Our luxurious cosy pods are the perfect answer, with their fully insulated walls & floor and double glazing. A private porch with storage seating and your own picnic bench is provided. Our pods sleep 4 persons and are dog friendly.

Leave the tent pegs at home and say hello to camping with an added slice of luxury with a stay in our Devon Barrel pods!
These unique wooden structures offer the same outdoor holiday experience as traditional camping but with the bonus of a few added creature comforts, that are so often missed on a regular camping holiday.
Sleeping up to four people, with a double bed and 2 single beds, these cosy properties offer a totally different self-catering break.
For safety’s sake we do not allow the use of bicycles, skateboards or flying of kites on the Park.
