The glass faceted sea-facing spa includes a waterfall hydrotherapy pool, relaxation area, steam room, sauna, exotic experience shower, gym, three treatment rooms - one being a couples treatment room - and changing facilities. The spa sunbathing terrace has spectacular views out to sea and is decorated with exclusive American Art illustrations from Peter de Savary’s private collection

For the ultimate luxury seaside break in Devon, why not rent one of our three newly restored cottages? Choose from a three or four* bedroom holiday cottage, each a short walk from the inn and spa. Decorated by Kathleen Fraser, the cottages reflect the coastal style and comfort of the inn but with the added privacy and space of your own holiday home.
Ideal for families and groups of friends looking for a seaside getaway, our cottages are perfect for those looking for short or long stays and are bookable by the night or by the week. The cottages are sea-facing with their own outdoor dining terraces, gardens and BBQ. Some cottages are dog-friendly too.
Each holiday cottage has a spacious, comfortable sitting room with a working fireplace and fully-equipped kitchen. Facilities include a 32" flat screen TV with DVD & CD player, books, games and a DVD library. All cottages are prepared with fluffy towels and fine linen.
The cottages are rentable on a room only basis. Dining is available in the inn, including breakfast if required. Cottages are prepared for arrival by our housekeeping team together with a welcome hamper. For those on a weekly rental, there is a mid-week housekeeping service.
Shops are a 5 minute drive from your cottage and several of the larger supermarkets also offer an online delivery service.
Cottage Guests are welcome to enjoy the private areas of the Cary Arms including the saloon, residents' sunbathing terrace and private garden, private dining terrace and dining pod as well as spa treatments.

With 2 suites and 8 sea facing, en-suite bedrooms, international designer Kathleen Fraser has captured effortless seaside living. Fresh, clean coastal character abounds, with echoes of New England. Guests can relax with huge, comfy beds, crisp linens, fluffy towels and cosy waffle bathrobes.
The Captain’s Suite and Pebble Cottage are perfectly suited for families, with twin/king bedrooms. Two pet-friendly rooms are also available. The two suites also have log-burning fire pits on their terraces.
Superbly comfortable and full of character
The luxurious new accommodation is unique. The simplistic design of the Beach Hut exterior is reminiscent of traditional seaside charm and combined with the contemporary duplex interior and luxurious hand-crafted furnishings, cultivates a union between form, function and views. Huge wall-to-wall glass doors fold back onto the sunbathing deck, drawing light even on the dullest of days.
The Beach Huts and Beach Suites will each sleep two. Hugging the water’s edge in a sheltered sunny spot adjoining the inn, each comprises a terrace, sitting room, wet bar, feature fire, bedroom and elegant bathroom. Set amid exquisite tropical coastal gardens and the dramatic red cliffs of the Jurassic coast, the incomparable location buoys the quintessential seaside essence. Two Beach Huts and one Beach Suite are dog friendly. The beach huts cannot accommodate extra child bed but cots for infants are available.
