Babbacombe model village

Babbacombe Model Village
Hampton Avenue

The hooman girl used to visit the babbacombe model village when she was a little girl with her parents, so we decided on a return visit this year when we was on holiday.
They have updated it alot in 20 years, there's now a sort of walk way platform around the attraction, also a 4D cinema and a model railway (we didn't see these as dogs are not allowed inside).
Favorite parts were the dragon in the caste which breathes fire, the police scenes and the shop and profession names on the vans etc.
It was fun to see if you can spot scenes from the real world that we have also visited for example the steam railway in Paignton and the Babbacombe cliff railway as well as more wider known attractions such as stone henge.

They have a well stocked gift shop. The staff were polite and helpful. Clean toilets. Cafe on site.
Parking is in a local authority car park outside the entrance which is pay and display.
Entrance to the model village adult £8.90 child £6.90 under 3's free. 4D theatre is £1 extra per person. The tickets are day passes so you can go in the day and then come back at night to see the village lit up with its illuminations (when available). or upgrade your ticket to a 14 day ticket for just £1 extra per person.

Dogs are allowed everywhere (including the gift shop) except from previously mentioned 4D cinema and model railway and the cafe.
