Debonair Dogz® delivers professional dog grooming in a fully equipped customised grooming salon, located in-between Axminster and Honiton just off the A35 with plenty of free parking just outside with safe access to the salon.

Debonair Dogz® was established in 2005 and provides comprehensive grooming care for your pet and peace of mind for you that your dog is looked after in a loving and happy environment by an experienced and dedicated team of individuals trained to the highest standards. We belong to the Pet Industry Federation and our membership of the British Dog Groomers' Association commits us to uphold the strictest standards in the industry. We pro-actively find new ways through innovation in equipment and training to provide you and your pet with the best possible service we can.

Debonair Dogz® is a friendly, fully equipped grooming salon nestled in the East Devon Countryside only a few miles from the Jurassic Coast with very good access from Honiton and Axminster just off the A35 outside the village of Wilmington. With plenty of parking inside the small business park it is off road and safe for your pet.

Our salon has everything your doggie could ever need to feel happy, safe and secure in the company of dog lovers that love them all to bits. We groom large dogs and small and all sizes in-between. The salon is equipped to groom any breed of dog and we can groom your pet from puppyhood through their happy and active years and accommodate their needs as they grow older or have any health issues.

The salons popularity through word of mouth has helped Debonair Dogz® to develop and grow from strength to strength and employ a team of staff that receive continuous training to improve and stay current with trends and the new styles gracing the doggie walks! Investment in our staff is paramount and the same grooming team has been in place for over nine years. The team has expanded to meet the growing demands of the salon and we have a good mix of young talent and experience so we able to offer a consistent reliable, quality service.

Hand Stripping
We have been trained and approved by the Staffordshire Grooming academy, breeders of award winning terriers. We use natural, traditional hand stripping methods. We are able to preserve and maintain coat condition, texture and colour of wire coated breeds, retaining the original look of your dog and not changing their appearance by using quicker methods, that only dilute colour and change texture. Please contact us if you require more information and whether your dogs breed should be stripped.

Clipping
This procedure is a popular choice that is appropriate for certain breeds please ask our advice before choosing this option, again in some cases there are alternative methods that are equally effective. What ever your need we are experienced in giving you the correct advice for your dogs coat. We are extremely popular for crossbreed and designer breed trims and suggesting appropriate coat length and care techniques for dogs that do not shed their coats.

Bathing, Shampoo & Set!
We offer a bathing service daily for small to medium sized dogs. Shampoo & Set appointments are bathing appointments only, they include a towel or blow dry and nail trim if required, no further grooming will be undertaken.

We have a puppy induction programme that has proven to be a great success where grooming is introduced gently and calmly to puppies from the age of 4 months. This introductory appointment helps prepare the puppy to be separated from their owners and let them experience the different sounds and sensations that they will need to get used to as their coats mature and regular grooming is required.
