Greenwood Grange Dorset is a collection of beautiful stone-built luxury holiday cottages, perfect for couples, families or groups, from cosy units sleeping two to larger properties sleeping up to twelve with log burners, many dog friendly.



Our self catering cottages are ideally situated in the heart of the Dorset countryside next to 66 acres of stunning woodland where, for most of the year, dogs are able to exercise off lead. We have a selection of dog friendly properties and treat your dog to a chew on arrival whilst you check in. The grounds include a fully enclosed dog exercise area, perfect for a gentle morning stroll before setting out for the day.

There are 7 stunning dog friendly properties to chose from; sleeping 2 - 12 people, each beautifully furnished and well equipped.

Greenwood Grange has a huge range of facilities for everyone to enjoy, whatever age. Tennis courts, badminton, croquet and a games room which includes a children’s play area, and in the activity field our play yurt.

Nestled in the Dorset countryside, just 5 minutes from Hardy’s birthplace. There are many walks in the area, the Jurassic Coast is only a few miles away as well as a wealth of gardens, houses, castles and beautiful villages to explore.



Dogs at Greenwood
Dorset is a fabulous place to holiday with your dog and Greenwood Grange is the perfect place from which to get out and about. Many top attractions in the county are dog friendly including Corfe Castle, Sherbourne Castle and the Dinosaur Museum. You will also find a warm welcome in our local pubs as well as inside ‘Under the Greenwood Tree Café’’, Hardy’s Birthplace Visitor Centre located opposite the entrance to Greenwood Grange. Dogs are welcomed into the cafe and are even treated with free gravy bones!

No holiday is complete without a day at the beach and as the majority of the counties beaches are dog friendly, there is no need to leave your dog behind. Whether it’s a cliff top walk along the breath taking Jurassic Coast or a lazy day spent at Lulworth Cove, you and your pooch can enjoy getting some fresh air and exercise together.

And after a busy day out exploring all that Dorset has to offer, you can return to the comforts of your five star accommodation and soak up the tranquil surrounds.

Please advise us on booking that you will be bringing a dog with you so that we can ensure a dog friendly property is allocated for you.

We allow a maximum of two dogs per property, depending on the size of the dog.
To avoid disappointment we advise calling attractions ahead of your visit to check that your dog will be welcome.
