In June 2007 the long awaited Pet Education Centre (The Pet Experience Ltd) was opened after spending years searching for suitable premises. Cormac is responsible for the day to day operation of the Centre.

For years we had been shopping at the normal pet shops/pet warehouses you can find in most towns around the country – and for years we were continually surprised at the apparent lack of knowledge and interest present in many of these stores. Yes, we got fed up with it! What’s more, we decided to do something about it! That’s the seed that launched The Pet Experience – Pet Education Centre.

In 2009 we started our own brand of pet food called Easterbrook’s. It is a premium hypo-allergenic petfood that is the same quality as foods such as Arden Grange, James Wellbeloved and Burns to name a few. However, as we get the food manufactured for us directly there is no ‘middle-man’ so we can sell the food to you at a much cheaper price than many other premium foods! On a 12kg bag of dog food this can mean a saving of as much as £20 when compared to some other foods as listed above. So if you have an average sized dog it could mean a saving of around £150 a year……..and that’s per dog for those of you with more than one! We are constantly striving to provide the best levels of customer care in a warm, friendly & professional manner. We will always do our utmost to fulfil your expectations as the vast majority of our business is from word-of-mouth and we aim to keep it that way!

Our Centre started off with small premises on the Granby Industrial Estate in Weymouth. After 2 years in business it was very apparent that we had outgrown our premises and by good coincidence the unit next to us became available so without hesitation we expanded! We now have close to 2,000 sq. ft. of space and stock a huge range of pet food, accessories, cages, hutches, runs etc. If you can’t find what you are looking for, just let us know and we will do our best to fulfil your needs.
