Group walk & play
This is our favourite type of walk, as we love watching the dogs interact and have fun with each other. It gives them more exercise and mental stimulation. We usually keep the dog groups down to three at a time and we have a strict limit of no more than four dogs. New dogs are slowly introduced into their new group, we do our best to match up personalities and temperaments.
One 2 one walks
These walks are designed for dogs that like being walked on their own or just like to get all the fuss and attention! Sometimes we may advise the one 2 one walks for larger breeds or dogs
that do not mix well with others.
One 2 one walks last half an hour (or more) of walking time.
Stroll to the park
Designed for the proud old dog, young pup or the walking wounded. These walks are all carried out
locally near your home, either street walking or walking to the nearest park or playing field. Your dog will be walked for 20 mins, just enough time to stretch some old legs, build up puppy confidence or work towards getting your dog back to full health.
Puppies qualify for this walk up to the age of five months, depending on breed. Then if you wish they can be slowly introduced into the group walk or one 2 one walk for extra exercise, fun and stimulation they crave.
Doggy Day Care at home
If you prefer we can look after your dog whilst your out all day. We will visit and walk your dog three times through out the day, morning, lunchtime and evening. These walks will consist of two 30 minute walks and one 60 minute walk.
Feeding and cuddles are included.
Your dog can be let off their lead on all walks with your prior written consent
Once we arrive back at your home we towel dry your dogs tired paws, if necessary. Then we settle
them down in their basket exhausted and happy to snooze the rest of the day
We always refill their bowls with fresh water and feed them if you have requested us to.

“Work commitments changed and we needed a dog walking service. Jason is a professional and reliable man and also able to do the extra walk on occasion when work over runs. Taz enjoys his company and I have witnessed Taz running to the door when Jason arrives he certainly looks forward to his walks. The walks give Taz a social life and as an ex-racer he is now very relaxed around other dogs. I would recommend Fetch Your Lead to any of my friends and colleagues. ”
“Jason walks Tilly when we are away on holiday. He provides a personal service tailored to our needs. He is reliable, caring and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending him as a dog walker.”

“We have been using Fetch your Lead for almost 2 years now since Mia was 8 weeks old and I genuinely cannot recommend their services highly enough! She absolutely loves going for walks with Jason and all of her doggy friends and I can go to work safe in the knowledge that she will be well looked after and have a decent walk when I'm not at home. Such a friendly, reliable and flexible service with fantastic communication and a Facebook page so we can see what she gets up to on her adventures. Thanks Jason!”
“Hi-ya all you fellow dog lovers. Just wanted to let you know my wife and I have been using Fetch your lead for about 14 months now and we think the service first class. We moved from Gateshead to Ryhope in 2011 due to my work and we needed someone to walk our 2 year old German Shepherd. He has some issues and we were worried that someone else would not be able to handle him, however our minds were instantly put at rest even on the phone. We have always found Fetch your lead to be professional and reliable at all times and we love the texts to let us know all is well and what they have all been up to when they are out and about. The one thing that did surprise us was how flexible their service is, sometimes we use them everyday, sometimes just twice a week and sometimes we just text them in the morning but they can always fit our Fin in to their plans for the day.”
