Both are large, interesting & secure spaces which include shelter, inside warm space, plenty of comfy beds and of course toys. It is the ideal place for your dog to spend the day if you're out and about, not wanting him/her to be home alone.
We are open Mondays to Fridays 7am-7pm. It's just £17 a day and £9 for half a day; with discounts when booking in for a full week or when booking in more than 1 dog from the same household.
Please call or email now to ask any queries and book your dogs' FREE 2 hour trial!
Pick Up and Drop Off
We offer a collection and drop home service for just £5 per day. Areas covered are: Brentwood, Warley, Harold Wood, Shenfield, Hutton, Billericay & surrounding.
Of course specific times can be discussed for dogs with separation anxiety disorder, puppies etc; however we prefer to be key holders to enable us some flexibility. Once your dog has had their trial at day care, we arrange a home visit with you; so that your dog familiarises us with home and you can show us any specifics.
We have a full dog walking service, Mondays to Fridays. We use local parks and woodlands to exercise your fur-babies; collecting them from your home in one of our doggy vans. Just £12 for a full hours walk. We start off by offering a free home consultation, to meet with you and your dog/s and discuss your needs.

“I have a blue Staffie named Violet. She has been attending Ruff Stuff as soon as she had her injections. She absolutely loves it there and Rosa and all her staff. She is such a good mixer with other dogs and am sure it's because she gets to play there. We refer to it as doggie playschool ”

“My 18 month old Westie Luna has being going to ruff stuff since she was a puppy! Everytime we pull up at the gate she can not wait to get out and play with her friends! It is nice to know that she is well cared for on the days that I work and not have to worry about her all day as I know she is in safe hands!! Thanks Rosa”
“What a fantastic find! My Newfoundland was over the moon to play with all the lovely staff and doggies at Ruff Stuff. He especially liked the paddling pools! Such a welcoming and natural outdoor environment and so so reasonable on price. I'll definitely be back and I just wish I lived closer to you!! Please open another near Colchester!”

“We're so happy to have found Ruff Stuff! Our 7 month old puppy Chewie has been going there for day care for a month now, since I returned to work full time, and he absolutely loves it. He's always so excited to go and see his friends & I know that he's being well looked after all day. I think I visited every daycare place within a half hour drive of Billericay, when we were choosing where Chewie would go, and Ruff Stuff was definitely the best option. Thanks Rosa :)”

“I am so grateful to Rosa and the team at Ruff Stuff. My beagle Millie has been going every week twice a week since she was 4 months old. She is now brilliant and confident with other dogs thanks to her visits to Ruff Stuff. She loves it and Can't wait to go. She comes home happy and contebt worn out from a good day playing and enjoying herself and I feel so much happier working knowing she is happy.”

“Our greyhound absolutely loves Ruff Stuff. As a rescue dog, it has been brilliant for her socialisation and confidence and we love seeing her get on so well with all breeds of dog. She pulls my arm off to get in and comes home shattered, we can't recommend Rosa and the team highly enough. ”
- Katherine Higgins
“I have a 17 month sprocker who's social skills have changed for the better. When I brought him off another family, who were unable to have him anymore at 9 months old, he wasn't the most confident of dogs. Since Ozzie has been going to Ruff Stuff for the past 8 months, I have seen a change in him, he is much more confident when going over to other dogs now and having a play, rather than hiding behind me. Ruff Stuff has an amazing team of Staff especially the founder Rosa, I couldn't ask for a better, caring, loving dog sitting than her. The hours are perfect for a city worker like myself and as a bonus Ozzie is always shattered when he comes home. I wouldn't send him anywhere else. Thank you Rosa xx”
- Lucy Sinnott
“My dog, Star, loves it so much here I literally have to drag her away. I have every confidence in Rosa & her team and recommend constantly, Jackie Hawkins”

“Anyone who wants to know their dog is being taken care of in their absence by a caring, experienced and professional team, then Ruff Stuff is the place they should be! I cannot praise Rosa highly enough - their attention to each individual dog puts them in a class above any and all the other doggy day cares out there. My two pups love it spending time with Rosa and the guys at Ruff Stuff and they come home pooped - which is great as I know they're being looked after, having fun, getting plenty of exercise, socialising with other dogs and building their confidence, which is something all dogs need. So pleased I saw Rosa driving her van passed me early one morning, and taking the time to ring and speak to her. Thank you guys! ”
- Denise Hunt
“The best thing that we've ever found, buddy loves it and wears him out which is the best thing. Also the opening hours are perfect as we can drop him off before work and pick him up after. Rosa is amazing. ”
- Megan Juniper
“My Mummy takes me to Ruff Stuff every week and I love it. Rosa is my favourite person in the world and all her friends are great too. When I know I am going to what my Mum calls Puppy Playschool, I wait on the doormat and get very impatient because she doesn't take me there quickly enough. When I get there I see all my friends and spend all day playing with them. When I get home, all I need is my dinner and my bed. I wish I could go every day.”
- Stanley Hedden
“The best place i know. My boxer dog absolutly loves it there, staff are great Thanks ruff stuff.”
“My dog is a toy cockapoo and has been going to ruff stuff since he was 4 months old, he has such great social skills due to this. He can't wait to go and is absolutely shattered when he gets home. ”

“Sadly I have to leave a review as to what happened to my Cockapoo in your care last Wednesday 11th April. We left Bowie and his brother prince with you in the morning after reading such good reviews on your site. We got a call from yourselves saying their had been an accident and Bowie was fine but had a scratch on his neck and that you had cleaned the wound and it will be fine. When we arrived there we were told his head got stuck in a gate and that a regular had tried to get him out. (I never thought a regular meant another dog).Sounds a bit like a scene from Lassie where a dog tries to pull another dog out of a stuck gate... There was allot of blood around the wound and we were told its fine it happens allot and he was running around fine afterwards. We immediately took him to our VET, Wylies in Upminster. Bowie had to have 6 stitches , three inside and three outside. The wound was incredibly deep and also suffered from an infection. He had to have a drain put in for the infection.Thank goodness he is going to be fine, and is on painkillers, antibiotics and stitches will be out in a week. Our VET bells are currently at £740. Now we completely understand accidents happen what has made the situation so much worse is we have such limited communication from yourselves besides a message from Paige when I keep bombarding you on messenger. I call daily with no answer, I leave voicemails, have emailed and messaged you. I get no calls back, absolutely no concern of what has happened.besides coming down to the daycare myself ( I am 8 months pregnant so was avoiding this) I don't know what else to do , to get you to talk to us. I got a message from Paige saying this is not common to ignore clients and Rosa would call me for insurance plans. I have had nothing, its been over a week now. I warn others who have small dogs to be careful, as we were told this happens often with other curious dogs and 'the gate'. Use the money that you should be using to pay us for the medical bills and get your gate fixed safely so no other dog gets injured or dread to think worse. I will spare everyone from posting the pictures on here of my poor dog but contact me if you do want to see them. Please be cautious using these guys, in the unfortunate event of an accident they will just put there heads in the sand and take no responsibility. My dogs are my little babies and I would hate this to happen to anyone else.”
