The House of Bread (Cottages) - Dog Friendly Accommodation in Berry Hill, Gloucestershire

The House of Bread Holiday Cottages is just a few miles from Symonds Yat Rock and Symonds Yat East and beautiful forest walks to the River Wye go practically from the front door. The House of Bread has a great village location with good local shops, pubs (serving food), a church and bus services providing easy access to activities such as biking, canoeing, rope courses, wine tasting or bird watching. Or for shopping, cinema and theatre visit Coleford, Chepstow, Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye all of which are within easy reach.

Home Cottage
Downstairs - Home Cottage is slightly larger downstairs with a separate cosy lounge, a large airy dining room and a well-equipped kitchen.

Upstairs - Home Cottage has 2 bedrooms, a comfortable master bedroom with a king-sized bed and a second bedroom (which can be set either as a double (with a super-king bed) or a twin depending on your requirements). Both bedrooms have wall mounted TVs. There is also a light and airy family bathroom with a bath with shower over.

Outside - There is a private outside seating area with a pretty arch and bench and views over our the back courtyard. Guests are also welcome to use the BBQ in the larger courtyard garden at The House of Bread.

Old Bakery Cottage
Downstairs - Old Bakery Cottage is slightly bigger with a large airy lounge/dining room, a well-equipped separate kitchen and a downstairs loo.

Upstairs - Old Bakery Cottage has 2 bedrooms, a large, comfortable master bedroom with a king-sized bed and lovely views through triple aspect windows and a second bedroom (which can be either a double (with a superking bed) or twin depending on your requirements) and a light and airy family bathroom with a bath with electric shower over.

Outside - There is a pretty courtyard garden with garden furniture and guests are also welcome to use the BBQ and many seating places in the larger courtyard garden at The House of Bread.

Butty Barn
Along with our two holiday cottages at the House of Bread, we now have a new addition – Butty Barn. Recently completed & renovated to the highest standard, a luxurious large one-bedroom barn conversion. It’s a beautiful stone barn with all original features, including a delightful log burner, slate floors, huge bedroom, very spacious but cosy lounge diner, fully fitted bathroom with bath & shower, fitted kitchen with dishwasher & boot room.

Inside -  Butty Barn has a large spacious king-size bedroom with plenty of storage (room for a travel cot if required). The lounge/diner is a bright and airy space, but still retains a cosy homely feel. There is a log burner for those chiller evenings. There are two sofas to chill & relax. Lovely dining area to enjoy meals. There is a lovely refitted bathroom with bath & shower over. Boot room to store coats & wellies. There are stairs rising to a fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher & small breakfast bar to eat at or even work from.

Outside - There is a large courtyard for parking, with a seating area to enjoy a morning coffee.
