Edale House - Dog Friendly B&B In Parkend, Gloucestershire

Located in the charming village of Parkend, Edale House B&B is an ideal venue for your Forest of Dean holiday. A well restored and stylishly comfortable Georgian style guest house, the property has six en-suite bedrooms, a large guest lounge with licensed bar, breakfast room, off-road parking and relaxing gardens. At our Forest of Dean B&B we provide an award-winning breakfast and a warm welcome with tea and cake for all our guests.

With the Forest of Dean on our doorstep, all major attractions are within easy reach. We are adjacent to the RSPB Nagshead nature reserve, close to a huge array of activities and sights and easily accessible to the many miles of walking and cycling paths within the Forest. In fact there is a path at the back of our garden so you don’t even need to get in the car! We also have secure cycle storage, a workshop and bike wash on site making this an ideal B&B for cyclists.

At Edale House B&B we provide 4 star accommodation in a stylish Georgian style house which has been comfortably restored to provide six elegant bedrooms, a large guest lounge, breakfast room, welcoming entrance hall and well kept gardens. Rooms
All of our bedrooms are individually furnished and complete with all modern conveniences including a TV, wifi, kettle and a hair dryer.

We have five double rooms and one twin, although two of the double bedrooms can also be reconfigured as twins. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor and can accommodate dogs. See our bedrooms page for more information about each of the rooms, plus more photos and descriptions.

We have two bedrooms which are suitable for dogs, these are rooms 1 and 2 on the ground floor. Please let us know when booking if you will be bringing your dog. A small charge applies.

Please note we are unable to take children under the age of 12.

Garden
Our garden has recently been renovated to provide a relaxing outdoor space for our guests. We have outdoor seating on the patio near the breakfast room with large umbrellas and we also have outdoor sofas and chairs at the back of the garden allowing our guests to relax in the sun and enjoy our splendid views.

Our garden has rear access directly onto a foot and cycle path which runs along the side of the RSPB Nagshead nature reserve. From there you can access a wide variety of paths and explore the beautiful Forest of Dean without having to get in your car!

Our garden and patio are accessible to guests via a side gate. The patio has flat access and there are either 1 or 2 steps up to paths which lead into the garden itself.

Cycle storage and wash facilities
Our new cycle wash area was completed recently and has full drainage, with its own dedicated retractable hose, bike clamp and AstroTurf around the sides

Our new secure bike storage and workshop is next door to the washing area and has stress matting throughout. The cycle storage and workshop have CCTV and are alarmed.
