Elen's Castle Hotel was named after the daughter of Prince Llywelyn the Great. The hotel offers friendly accommodation and great food near Betws-y-Coed in the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. Alongside its wealth of history offers, it offers modern, eco-friendly hotel accommodation.

An 18th century coaching inn with every modern comfort and several awards including a 'green' tourism award. A small village setting with Dolwyddelan Castle just a few minutes walk away. Elen's Castle Hotel is named after the daughter of Prince Llywelyn the Great, our very own princess born right here! This hotel offers a unique, beautiful and relaxing holiday base at the foot of Mount Siabod, at heart of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales between Betws-y-Coed and the Crimea Pass.

All rooms are en-suite, some with stunning views.  There is a four-poster bedroom for a little more luxury and a family suite for groups of up to 5.  Eat a delicious meal in the award-winning restaurant and enjoy one of the many Welsh gins, a Welsh craft ale on draught or any drink by the wood-burning stove in the cosy historic bar.

We have a silver Green Tourism Award.  We are dedicated to minimising the negative impact of tourism on the environment so by staying at Elen’s Castle Hotel you are doing your bit too!  We have a biomass boiler which provides us with carbon-neutral heating and hot water.  We also have EV charging points for Teslas and type 2 EVs.
