I am Georgina Reid, maiden name HOW. I have been a dog trainer since 2012 after I finished a 10 year career in the Metropolitan Police. I provide 1-2-1 and remote dog training services across the whole of Hampshire and surrounding counties. From Reading, Andover, Whitchurch, Overton, Tadley, Stockbridge, Newbury, Salisbury, Hook, Odiham and Basingstoke to Winchester, Southampton, Eastleigh, New Forest, Petersfield, Ropley. Romsey, Liss, Guildford, Four Marks, Medsted, Beech, Bentworth and Alton. My aim is to support dogs and their owners with training that is adaptable to their pack, routine, family size and available space. From training on separation, socialisation, the walk, feeding, toileting and the lead I will also ensure your dog is calm and confident amongst cars, hoovers, mowers, deliveries, doorbells, other animals and more.

£150 for a 3 month remote package and £250 for a 3 month face to face package.

My Method
I trained in 2012, learning about how dogs live in the wild and what makes them calm and content. I have adapted this to the human pack so we can live in peace with dogs. Its a compromise of learning a little bit dog and allowing them time to trust and understand humans. I knew straight away I had a natural understanding for how dogs work and what they need. I adapt my training to suit the pack and their needs and we work for 3 months together, so you wont be alone. I can show you how to confidently and effectively communicate with and handle your dog, helping it to find a role and purpose within the home. We will learn how to read your dog when it needs your help and guidance. Every dog moves in a unique way so owners get my support in learning what their dog likes and dislikes gaining confidence in how to best support and reassure the dog when needed. This training reduces any confusion and stress on dogs and their owners and encourages a happy and harmonious relationships between dog, owner and their families!
 
If you want my help, then book in a consultation which can last up to 3 hours. I come into your home and work through training to help you and your dog. Using positive reinforcement with NO gadgets, consistency and visual techniques instead of just shouting No, Stop and Down, I guarantee you will see results soon with your dog. Every dog wants to learn but the human pack can be hard to settle into with all the noises, separation and daily changes we have. Lets allow dogs to learn, to grow, to sleep, to be praised for all the good bits and ask questions that we can answer for them. They dont need to protect, follow, worry about us. Lets show them what we want from them instead of just correct them when they get it wrong. I am fully Insured.
