So what is dog agility then ?
Dog agility is a fun sport for you to enjoy with your dog. Handlers train the dog to complete a series of obstacles off lead. Its all about time and accuracy in competition. Its a great way to keep you and you dog fit, as well as providing essential mental stimulation. It is a growing sport with people of all ages and fitness levels taking part.

Instructor
Dave Nash has competed in agility for 30 years plus and instructed at a number of different clubs before deciding to open Fly-By Agility. The club name originates from Dave's first agility dog 'Fly' who has since sadly passed away. After the sad loss of Fly, Dave looked for a pup and found Glynn who was strangely born on the day fly passed away. Glynn loves agility as much as Dave and is always eager to train and get in the competition ring.

Reviews

“Fly-By is such a fun and friendly club. Dave is an excellent, patient instructor with a great sense of humour. He makes learning fun and there is no pressure or criticism. All dogs are trained using positive kind techniques. We train to competition standard but there is no pressure to compete if you just want to do agility for fun. My dogs both love their weekly classes and we have made some great friends. ”

“I initially took my dog along to Fly-by Agility to give him some fun, off-lead exercise. It has really helped him to focus on what I want him to be doing and his obedience issues are pretty well overcome. The coaches are very patient and we have learnt an enormous amount during the training sessions. The club atmosphere is fantastic and we really look forward to going. Would definitely recommend this club!”

“Fly-by agility is a fantastic club. It's a fun and friendly atmosphere, as well as training for the more competitive dog and owner. We joined the club two years ago with one nervous Collie and now train 4 dogs that all compete in competition and have exceeded all my expectations. Definately recommend for any level of training.”
