Pet-friendly self-catering holidays on the Isle of Wight
There’s nothing better than a fun-packed holiday with your loved ones and that most certainly includes four-legged members as well as two! It can however, be difficult to find somewhere that will take all of you at the same time but not to worry, our selection of dog-friendly cottages takes that worry away. For dogs who love to discover new areas, there are lots of great walkies on the Isle of Wight, along the spectacular coastline and over 500 miles of footpaths with fascinating woodland and downland to explore.

For water babies, the island’s beaches are perfect for splashing about in warmer months and taking long bracing walks during the winter. Though there are seasonal restrictions on some of the resort beaches, don’t worry that your dog won’t have any summer fun – there are many beaches that allow dogs all year round, including Bembridge, Seagrove and Springvale.

Many of the attractions on the island happily accept dogs and there are lots of pooch-friendly cafes, pubs and restaurants who will welcome your dog like a long-lost family member, often with a bowl of water and a biscuit or two of their very own.
