Bijou Cottage - Dog Friendly Cottage in Deal, Kent

Bijou Cottage is in the cute town of Deal, on the coast of Kent. On a clear day you can see neighbouring France (accessible by ferry or the channel tunnel) via Dover so a perfect stopover via Europe.

Bars, restaurants & boutique shops are plentiful and all within walking distance.

Bijou Cottage was built in the 1800's and is small but perfectly formed. Newly refurbished it's in a convenient location in Deal, Kent it is close to the shops, conservation area, train station and beach. It's location makes it the perfect gateway to either London or Europe.

There is a path alongside the beach stretching all along the coast to Dover and Sandwich Bay for keen walkers, 3 castles and 4 golf course nearby (which will host The Golf Open 2020).

I supply electricity/gas central heating and a log burner for cozy evenings in.

I also provide free internet, Wi-Fi and Smart/Freeview T.V.

There is a large fridge freezer, microwave & washing machine and tea/coffee/milk are supplied.

Towels, toiletries & linen, an ironing board & iron are also supplied. (Also available is a high chair and travel cot if requested).

Local Area
Local & historic attractions are on your doorstep in Deal. There are plenty of walks ands castles to visit. (Deal Castle, Walmer Castle & Dover Castle) and the Timeball Museum on the seafront. There is good fishing from the Pier and 4 golf courses nearby. The Astor Theatre is a walk away and you can take the riverbus to the Roman Fort of Richbrough.

You can also get the bus or train to the cathedral city of Canterbury, walk around the ancient walls and soak up the history.

There are also two nature reserves & two zoos within driving distance.

Dogs
Dogs accepted by prior arrangement only, at time of booking - £10 per booking.

Dogs should not be left unattended in the cottage at any time and should not be allowed onto the beds or sofas during your stay. A charge will be made should any extra cleaning be required after your departure in order that we may maintain our usual high standards.

Maximum 2 dogs per cottage.
