Legacy Pets offers dedicated pet owners the option to have their pets cremated locally in Bury and the chance to visit us personally to discuss and fulfil your aftercare needs.

We aim to reunite owners with their pets within 24 hours or Same Day where Possible. By reuniting pets with their owners in a timely manner, we offer our clients the opportunity to morn alongside their loved ones to help aid in the grieving process.

(Note: we do not deliver home on Sundays)

As Pet Owners ourselves we understand just how important it is to pay your last respects in your own time. True to this we have created a comfortable and serene environment for you and your family to pay your final respects.

You are welcome to visit our crematorium and make full use of this facility, and take as much time as you need. Simply call us to make an appointment, which are normally available immediately at no cost. Alternatively you can arrange Legacy Pets to come to your home or local vets.

Delivered with professionalism, care and dignity
The Legacy Pets service is designed to ensure the highest level of professionalism, care and dignity throughout the process, and we handle your loved ones as we would our own.

Your pet will be taken directly to our new crematorium, which is set upon a south facing rural plot with stunning views. We are located in the Jericho area of Bury, close to Bamford and just a 5 minute drive from both Bury and Rochdale town centre.

The care of your pets is paramount with us. If you are choosing our Collection Service, a dedicated member of our team can collect your pet from your home or veterinary practice. Your loved one will be personally chauffeured in their own bedding back to our location in Bury. Once they arrive in our care, they will be comfortably prepared to rest in our private Waiting Lounge.

Alternatively, you may wish to bring your pet to the crematorium and use our onsite facilities such as our quiet room. All owners will have their loved ones returned to them in a Beautiful and thoughtful Legacy Pets Presentation Pack as Standard.

At Legacy Pets, we understand the difficult situations we can sometimes find ourselves in where we must make a decision on behalf of our pets - and we know just how hard making that decision can be, especially when there are so many things to consider.​

Home Euthanasia means that a Vet comes to you in the comfort of your home and is able to gently guide your pet into their eternal sleep in a place they feel the safest - rather than having to cause possible upset and stress to your pet by taking them into a Veterinary Practice.​

We offer an all-in-one solution, so you don't have to worry about a thing. You can book a home euthanasia alongside an individual cremation with us, making sure your pet will receive the best care available all through their final journey. ​
