Our facilities provide the VIP treatment for all boarding dogs and puppies. Each kennel is fully insulated, with both concrete and grass runs to explore. Approved vet bedding and spacious play areas are provided, and digital radio is played to relax and calm your dog. We make sure every dog feels at home.

Each kennel is ventilated and insulated, with an attached exercise run. Temperatures are monitored throughout the day and evening, with additional heating used when required. Visits to view our facilities are welcomed and can be arranged by appointment.

Feeding is tailored to every dog’s needs. We cater for raw, complete, soft, semi-moist, and combinations of diets. If you prefer your dog to continue its home diet, we ask you to supply enough food for their stay and advise on frequency. Fresh water is available at all times.

Exercise and play are central to life at Hest Bank Kennels. Dogs enjoy individual covered runs once cleaning is complete, plus time in our large grass or concrete play areas. With owner consent, they can also enjoy walks or playtime. Extra walks are now £4 for 10 minutes. Socialisation is carried out only after a temperament test, and we carefully match dogs with similar size and play style to ensure fun and safe group play.

At bedtime, dogs are given cosy Vetbed bedding, which is vet-approved to prevent pressure points and regulate temperature. Plastic or raised beds, toys, and treats make them feel at home. At night, every dog is checked, played with, and given a goodnight treat to ensure bedtime is a positive experience.

We ask that all recent injuries, illnesses, or special needs are disclosed. Medicines and treatments are administered as instructed by your vet at no extra charge. A current vaccination certificate is required, including kennel cough if requested. We also ask for details of recent flea, worm, and tick treatments.

For safety, all dogs must arrive on a lead. If required, we can provide one. A chauffeured collection and drop-off service is available at a small additional charge. All dogs are fully insured during their stay, and if your pet already has insurance, please bring the details with you.
