Pet First Aid Courses In Southeast London, Kent And Essex
When people think of first aid, they often do not think about their pets. Pets have accidents the same as humans and knowing what to do should the worst happen is a simple thing to learn with basic training. Pet first aid is not aimed to replace veterinary care but it will help you to recognise an emergency, calm your pet and reduce the risks of delayed treatment. Learning pet first aid is fun and informative and will give you the skills to deal with a pet emergency should it arise.
We are proud to be affiliated with ProTrainings.eu and can offer a number of practical and online courses depending on your needs. Each successful candidate will receive an accredited CPD certificate and access to the ProTrainings.eu dashboard providing ongoing support with online access to the videos, receive free optional weekly refresher video emails. Each qualification is valid for 3 years.
We have ongoing courses with dates as published but if you would like a private or group course please get in touch and this can be arranged either in one of our venues or your chosen venue.

Pet First Aid
Pet first aid is not aimed to replace veterinary care but it will help you to recognise an emergency, calm your pet and reduce the risks of delayed treatment. This course is ideal for pet owners and pet professionals. It covers the main first aid subjects for dogs and cats but this information is also suitable for most other animals. This certificate is valid for 3 years. This qualification is also available with an endorsed certificate from TQUK for an additional charge if required.
Advanced Pet First Aid Level 3 (VTQ)
This covers much more detail about the different injuries and illnesses that can affect dogs and cats. The course also covers the anatomy and physiology of animals and different first aid treatments available. Although the treatment is basically the same between cats and dogs, the advanced course has a dedicated section to cats.
This certificate is valid for 3 years. This qualification is also available with an endorsed certificate from TQUK for an additional charge if required.
Canine First Aid
This is aimed at anyone who requires a course in first aid for dogs. Understanding basic first aid for your dog will give you the skills to assist them and prevent them from getting worse before your vet gives professional help. This certificate is valid for 3 years. This qualification is also available with an endorsed certificate from TQUK for an additional charge if required.
Security Dog First Aid
This course is approved by the National Association of Security Dog Users (NASDU) for the requirement of pet first aid in their standards. First aid is important to know for your security dog not only to comply with associations and local authorities but also for animal welfare and to help a dog in need. The nature of working with dogs can pose a risk that they may be harmed in the course of their work or transport. This is a 3 year nationally recognised certificate.
Pet First Aid for Children
This course is based on our popular pet first aid course but is adapted for teaching children. It covers a reduced number of skills and is taught in an easy to follow format. Students will receive a certificate.
On this course we discuss different things you need to think about when you get a dog/puppy or cat/kitten. This course is aimed to go alongside our pet first aid course to look at caring for your pet rather than dealing with an emergency. This is a family friendly course with special rates available.
