Piggyback Barns - Dog Friendly Accommodation in Fakenham, Norfolk

Piggyback Barns is a family business run by Tony and Lizzie Pointer. Situated in the stunning North Norfolk countryside on 500 acres of land, 100 acres of which is woodland, the owners consider themselves extremely fortunate. The farm is home to a myriad of different species of birds and fascinating wildlife which is on display every time you venture out. Taking a quiet seat at one of the first floor balconies is also a great idea for the wildlife fans among you.

Moat Lodge
Moat Lodge is situated to the left side of the 3 barns. Detached, all on the ground floor this offers a very accessible space to the collection. The Lodge is horse-shoe shaped, with large bi-folding doors from the kitchen and living room overlooking the enclosed garden and moat.

Moat Lodge consists of three large bedrooms downstairs, 2 with the zip and link beds and en-suite shower rooms. 1 with a king size bed and en-suite with bath and shower.

The living area is open plan and comes with a log burner for the cooler evening and bi-fold double doors that open on the walled garden and again onto the courtyard garden that sits between the kitchen and living area. Walking round the horse-shoe shape to the other side you will find a beautiful and well equipped kitchen with range cooker. kitchen island, american style fridge freezer, solid oak table and chairs and its own TV.

There is a small utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer and back door access to the garden.

This lovely property has exposed beams and ample windows and bi-folding doors giving it character, charm and natural light in abundance. All bedrooms have a smart TV, generous wardrobe space and en-suite bathrooms or shower rooms. There is ample space for parking.

Kestrel Barn
Kestrel barn consists of two large bedrooms downstairs, both of which have the zip and link option beds with an en-suite wet rooms. Upstairs you will find three large bedrooms; the first bedroom has a super king sized four poster bed with an en-suite bathroom/shower. The second bedroom has a super king sleigh bed with the lovely Juliette balcony also with an en-suite shower room, the third bedroom offers thezip and link option with an en-suite bathroom/shower.

It has an open plan living and dining area with double doors that open onto the walled gardens and comes with a well equipped kitchen and solid oak dining table.

The lovely property has exposed beams and Juliette balconies offering charm and character in abundance. All bedrooms have a flat screen television and generous wardrobe space. Kestrel has its own private, walled and secure lawned garden with a built in barbecue, ample parking is available.

Woodpecker Barn
Woodpecker barn consists of two large bedrooms downstairs. The first has a zip and link option bed with and en-suite shower/bathroom and double doors opening onto the walled garden. The second bedroom has the zip and link bed option again with a wet room. Upstairs you will find another two large bedrooms both of which have four poster beds with en-suite bath/shower rooms and the lovely Juliette balconies.

Entering this barn, you are welcomed to a lovely spacious living area with a flat screen television, oak floor, wood burner and large comfortable sofas. This room is a separate room from the kitchen, it has the stairs to the the first floor and double doors that open onto the walled garden.

The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped, it has a range cooker, tiled flooring and a solid oak table. It also has doors out to a small enclosed courtyard.

Woodpecker has its own private, walled and secure lawned garden with a built in barbecue, ample parking is available.

Kingfisher Barn
Kingfisher is situated to the right side of the three barns (when viewing from the front). The side aspect of this barn gives it a lighter, brighter interior and stunning views over the lawn and farm land.

Kingfisher consists of two large bedrooms downstairs, with the zip and link beds and en-suite wet rooms. Upstairs you will find three large bedrooms; the first bedroom has a super king four poster bed with an en-suite bathroom/shower. The second bedroom has a super king sleigh bed with a balcony also with an en-suite shower room, the third bedroom has the zip and link bed option with an en-suite bathroom/shower.
