2 Museum Cottages
This traditional flint cottage is sure to provide a cosy, romantic retreat away in the heart of Sheringham. Tucked away in a quaint spot close, yet yards away from the hustle and bustle of the main high street, the location is hard to beat.
The Old Barn Annexe
This quirky, attractive, beautifully equipped, comfortable, boutique style cottage with a contemporary finish, will not disappoint. Located opposite the church and the Village Inn pub garden on Cromer Road, in the heart of the popular seaside village of West Runton and close to all the amenities. From the property, you are minutes away from the lovely sandy beach with rock pools. West Runton is famous for fossil hunting, after truly 'mammoth' discoveries were made here in 1990!
The long coastline of Norfolk falls into two very different categories. From the Wash around to Sheringham and Cromer, the sea is gradually retreating giving rise to sandbanks, spits of land and silted harbours. From Cromer onwards, the sea is gradually gaining ground, and in many places the soft clay cliffs are being deeply erroded. However, around the entire Norfolk coastline, there are a number of fine sandy Norfolk beaches, some remote and quiet but becoming more developed around the major towns, villages and resorts. This part of the UK coast has something for everyone and makes a great seaside holiday or weekend break.
Walking in Norfolk
There are 100's of great walks throughout Norfolk. The most famous ones are Peddars Way which stretches cross country and the Norfolk Coast path taking you along the beautiful Norfolk coastline.
Lots more established walks are available for people of all ability, including short and circular walks. You can choose walks that take in the local natural beauty such as Weavers Way or Heritage walks available in many Norfolk towns.
