All of the privately owned cottages in our collection are located in or near Winterton-on-Sea in Norfolk. A former fishing village with pretty thatched cottages and a beautiful sandy beach, Winterton is the perfect place to unwind and relax. All Winterton Cottages are hand picked for their great convenient locations, and each one offers the perfect base for exploring the East coast of Norfolk.

All of our cottages are dog friendly (see individual details for number of dogs allowed at each cottage), and dogs are allowed on many Norfolk beaches all year round. If you're not sure which cottage is best for you just ask and we can help. We know each cottage inside out and because we're a local agency we can help with advice on where to visit and eat out during your stay in Norfolk.

ROBIN'S REST - A modern single storey barn conversion sleeping 2 set in the Norfolk countryside, yet only 5 minutes drive from the coast at Winterton-on-Sea. 1 dog welcome.

WINNIE - A cute 2 bedroom chalet bungalow with easy access to the dunes and beach, and spectacular views over fields from the living room. Guests at Winnie have access to the facilities at Hermanus Holidays, including an open air heated swimming pool. Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms with 2 dogs welcome.

 

 

APRIL COTTAGE - Beautifully furnished, April Cottage sleeps 4 in 2 double bedrooms. Located in the heart of the village it's 5 minutes walk from everything including the beach. Small enclosed courtyard at the rear of the cottage with 1-2 dogs welcome.

 

THE HOLLIES - A luxury 2 bedroom bungalow, both with en suite situated on a quiet road in the 5 minutes walk from the beach, pub and tea rooms. 4 dogs welcome.

 

 

COBBLES END - A modern 2 bedroom bungalow which sleeps 4, tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Winterton village. It has a large enclosed garden and is 5 minutes walk from the beach. 2 dogs welcome.

KETCH COTTAGE - In a peaceful location overlooking the village green, Ketch Cottage offers a relaxing stay for couples or families all year round. The beach is walking distance and the cottage sleeps 4 with 2 dogs welcome.

 

 

THE CRANNY - A quirky double rondavel which is surprisingly spacious inside! This beautiful cottage can sleep up to 5 people in 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. 2 dogs welcome.

 

GRAYLING HOUSE - A modern luxury property located on a quiet loke in Winterton. Sleep up to 6 in 3 en suite bedrooms. 5 minutes walk from the beach. EV charger. 2 dogs welcome.

 

THE CARPENTER'S SHOP - New for 2023, This upside-down house in the village of Fleggburgh offers comfortable living over 3 downstairs bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 en suite). The property benefits from a private enclosed paddock adjacent to the property and welcomes unlimited dogs.

 

SUNNY VIEW - A large three bedroom bungalow which sleeps 6 and is tastefully decorated in a coastal style. It's situated in a great central location within the village, steps from the dog friendly Fisherman's Return pub and walking distance to the beach. 3 dogs welcome.

EVA'S LOOKOUT - A modern architect designed house with open plan living upstairs to take advantage of the amazing sea views. Sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. Fully enclosed back garden. Up to 2 dogs welcome.

 

CLEVELAND HOUSE - Just five minutes stroll from the beach, Cleveland House offers luxury self-catering accommodation for 10 people with a hot tub on the sunny patio. With plenty of space, Cleveland House is ideal for a family gathering, a special occasion or a get together with friends. Up to 3 dogs welcome.

 

THE WHITE HOUSE - A stunning country house with additional annex available for large family gatherings. Gorgeous large landcaped garden. Sleeps up to 13 over 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms (3 en suite). 15 minutes walk to the beach. Up to 3 dogs welcome.

 

 

CHURCH FARM - A majestic Georgian farmhouse perfect for special occasions. Church Farm offers luxurious accommodation for up to 16 people, with a hot tub, games room and plenty of space for guests to chill out and relax.
