Moving inland we have some amazing cottages scattered throughout the Northumberland National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which covers nearly 400 square miles and boasts stunning scenery, rolling hills, cascading waterfalls, and the darkest skies in the country.
The picturesque Hadrian’s Wall stretches over 70 miles and we have a selection of properties that are ideally situated close to Hadrian's Wall path, great for those who enjoy the outdoors.
For those who prefer to be immersed into the bustling market town life, we also have a range of homes only a short walk from shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants in areas including Alnwick, Hexham, Rothbury and Alston.
“We have stayed at three of the College Valley houses. Dunsdale, Hethpool Mill and Coldburn. Every time we have had a great welcome and bringing the dogs has added to the pleasure of a good holiday. The valley has over 12,000 acres of wilderness. There are feral goats, deer and otters here. Also iron age hillforts and a neolithic stone circle. Quite unique.”
